Cut the interfacing a little bit smaller than the front flap of the bag and attach to the lining fabric by ironing. Cut around the interfacing, leaving enough to be able to turn under a small seam allowance.
Pin the lining section in place and slip stitch to secure. If you would prefer a more rigid structure to your bag interface and line the whole thing
Finally embellish with a vintage brooch or sew in a snap fastener and decorate with buttons or beads.
This pattern is very versatile and would work well in a variety of yarns, especially the lovely metallic yarns available in winter.
